Two years after having my lawn fit at a cost of thousands of pounds it was unfortunately damaged in a small area due to burning when a hedge cutter which had become heated after use was left on it. I immediately phoned my installer who initially said he would repair it. However after more phone calls it became obvious he was unwilling to help. I made phone calls to head office but they too were extremely unhelpful. I felt very angry and let down. So I persisted with my request and eventually it was passed on to an installer from a different area. He has been most helpful and yesterday came to repair it. He has made a good job which took not much over an hour to do. I paid him £180 which he charged for his fuel and time. He used an off cut so there was no grass to buy. After the money I paid to have the.job done in the first place and the profit which must have been made I feel the least my original installer could have done was to come and do the job himself without all the hassle I have had to go through. I would have paid him but as a goodwill gesture I'm sure he could have offered to do it for just the cost of his fuel. He was keen enough to travel to do the job in the first place! I must admit he made a good job of installation but his after sales service and that of the company needs to be improved.
