Very friendly family run apartments. Basic but clean. Lots of regular guests who come year in year out. First few days spoilt by large group who had taken over and claimed all of the loungers but bever actually used half of them. Showers in rooms were a bit hit and miss but gave a laugh if nothing else, unless you were covered in shower gel or shampooing your hair!
Tingaki has suffered from the economic downturn and a few places have closed down but still worth a visit and bus loads from nearby resorts flock in for the day, mainly for the beach. Amazing beach with clear shallow water but a few too many interruptions from people selling massages etc.
Some great Tavernas with lovely local dishes special mention to Spyros Grill and Oneiro for service and value.
Airport transfer was a bit of a let down as we had to be put on a bus dropping of at the other side of the island. Made the journey about 2 hours longer than it should have been.
Worth a visit to Zia for sunset and Kos town for old town harbour and ruins.
