“Do not use Ikea online service”

I could not recommend anyone enough NOT to use the Ikea online service. After having to wait nearly 1 month for our purchased items to be delivered, when the van did arrive only half of our order was was on it. The driver claimed the balance of our order was damaged in another lorry somewhere and Ikea would be in touch to let us know when they could re deliver.

Its been a week now and no news from Ikea, even though we have emailed, still nothing. We've tried calling too but, the shortest waiting time given, as they claim they are very busy, is 40 minutes!!!! The customer service line isn't free phone so if you are prepared to wait, be prepared for a large phone bill!!

If you really want ikea goods I would recommend buying from instore and steer well away from their online service which, ironically isn't much of a service at all.
