“Import duty & VAT”

This website is well known for its very cheap prices and has many good reviews. I asked for clarification about their pricing given that they seem to use a shipper based near Crawley. Their website still indicates that a contract for the supply of any goods is in effect with a Hong Kong business and any UK import taxes & VAT is or could be the responsibility of the buyer.

Their website does not show any indication of VAT , nor can I see a VAT registration number.

Personally this was enough to make me hesitate & not place an order, even given the good ratings that other buyers have shown.
