“Emmerdale is utter rubbish at the moment.”

My partner & I are absolutely fed up with the Emmerdale stories at the moment, especially the ridiculous one about Rhona the vet & her drug taking. She is supposed to be a professional person, as is her husband Paddy. Why hasn't he noticed that Rhona is acting in a peculiar way surely he as a vet would recognise her symptoms ? This awful story-line has been going on for far too long & the characters just seem to tell one lie after another. As for Nikil, I really can't believe that anyone would behave like he's doing, He needs a good kick up the backside, that poor baby being passed round from one relation to another, he doesn't deserve to have her.
Laurel also seems to be going round the bend, another one who needs a good kick up the backside !
I don't know who writes these scenes, but they're not doing the programme any favours. Get a grip & write something interesting & more true to life please.
