“Huoniao hn125-8 review”

written by pyrosfire666 on 03/08/2013

I bought this bike back in march 2011. Now we are in 2013 and this bike has covered 4500 miles and still going strong. The bike itself is left on the driveway through winter to summer all year round in all weather due to a lack of a garage at my home.

Taken into consideration it has bared all weathers (snow as well) it only has a very small amount of rust on the frame near the handle bars. The clutch cable snapped due to rust but only cost £6 to get a new cable and 5 mins of my time to fit it onto the bike.

Having said that the bike itself is still running very strong and keeps up well in traffic. just remember to turn the clutch off when your brand new bike arrives as it will make the engine not run properly if left on.

Over all for a bike that is being sold for £700 new. It's fantastic value for a bike, I know it's Chinese and some people sneer at them but truth be told. I have had a Suzuki and a pugeot (both scooters bought second hand mind) both of which broke down in 6 months and went to the scrappy as the cost of the parts were quite expensive.

If anything go's wrong with the bike you can buy parts for this model at a cheap price on www.chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.com and there is a club for huoniao owners to www.huoniao-owners.co.uk

I personally am impressed with the bike so far after it has done over 4000 miles. I was expecting a lot less from this bike but keeps giving more and more. You will have to do a little bit of maintenance once in awhile. changing air filters and oil, greasing the chain and tightening bolts but you will need to do this with whatever car or bike you own.

all in all £700 you really can not go wrong. Very happy.
