“Is there a better ISP than 34SP?”

I have been a customer of 34SP for quite a few years now, I think they must have been a very new start up when I registered my first domain and bought my first web hosting services through them. In that time I have never had any problems with technical performance but, as with any company - even the very best, there are sometimes problems but the great thing about 34SP is the speed with which they respond to support requests and the very obvious fact that the people who respond to support calls are genuine techies, not bull manure wholesalers. I am (actually 'was' - I took early retirement last month) an AIX specialist who has worked for some of the biggest IT companies in the world and I know when I am taken for a sucker!

However it isn't just 34SP's speedy and knowledgeable response to support calls that impresses. It is quite refreshing to feel that the supplier is working with me and not trying to squeeze every last penny out of me. For example, in response to a recent query it became clear that I would really benefit from the provision of SMTP services for a particular domain that so far has no web provisioning. Without hesitation the techie I was dealing with suggested that a 'reseller' account would probably suit me better than my current arrangement with them because I would then be able to make use of SMTP services for this particular domain and save some money!

What it comes down to in the end is that there are good and bad in all areas of business and commerce but it is rare indeed to chance upon a company that truly merits being described as 'outstanding'; it is my very real pleasure to say that 34SP is one such company. I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending 34SP unreservedly.

If there is a better ISP than 34SP I really don't know who they are and if you tell me that there is better out there I am going to take a lot of convincing.
