“A life values and share each other's feeling”

written by on 26/07/2013

I've seen it about 5~6times because it's just my one of the best film of my life. When I want to watch something, I just watch this and it's always new!

Director, Tom Ford is already known as a famous fashion designer, so I had the utmost curiosity when I watched it first.

It was a serious day. A day for deciding something so it looked more calm.
There were two man, a middle-aged, university professor who looked like a perfect man(George, Colin Firth) and a young man, handsome man who appeared happy without any concerns.(Kenny, Nicholas Hoult) Nobody knew they were lonely and seemed to need a friend but they could recognise each other. George had stayed in agony for a fairly long time but today. He just made a decision to leave his past. What happened to him?

Colin Firth's actiong was great. His performance was so natural and poignant. Nicholas Hoult really suithed kenny, his character, I think.

The background of this film was all set perfectly like a fashion magazines(even...ordinary university classroom which there's nothing nice orginal was cool!) and colthes, hair styles and small props are shown characteristincally of the age and those're absolutely gorgeous. Also the sound track with classical music is played lowly and deeply. It was awesome and clolrs of the scenes' changing was quite fascinating. Actually I just want to say, it's perfect! becuase these all of effects were very important to describe stories and emotions of charaters(I'm not an expert but it is reallky moving so I think, it's just brilliant!)

In the middle of the film, when George met a spanish young man and he told to George, "Even awful things ar made frome beautiful things"
Maybe it's not the piont of this film, but it's one of my unforgettable secnes.

A life values and share each other's feeling... I recommend it, if you enjoy a little bit serious and slow films.
