“14 returns policy”

I ordered a dress from Simply Be for an occasion.It did not arrive on time and then I went on holiday.When I arrived home from holiday I had other things going on in my life and forgot about the dress.The dress at this time needed to be sent back.I sent the dress back and thought that was the end of it.I have just paid simply Be very reluctantly 48.10 for absolutely nothing.I was told by the not so customer service agent it was my own fault for not sending the dress back straight away and incurring a late return fee of 14 days.I said this needed to be reviewed as people go on holiday have jobs and 14 days is not a long time to decide and then get it posted back of to them.In actual fact when does the 14 days start from.The day you order,the day it is posted out or the day you receive the product. In my case the day I ordered and the day I received was nearly 14 days apart.I do think Simply Be need to review their 14 day late fee policy and also need to send staff on customer training courses.I have paid in full so I never have to use this company again.My dress would have cost £62.00 =nothing at all cost me £48.10 .Can I have the dress back please
