“Great hotel. Budget airline not good”

Lovely 5* resort but the. Duvet flight let down the whole experience. Paid for pre booked seats, only to find that they had been given to someone else! Will now have to go the trouble of getting a refund. Information on flight non existent, no duty free or hot drinks and seats very cramped and in poor condition.

Booked and confirmed a VIP Deluxe Room, but was told by hotel manager it was an upgraded Garden View room. Therefore we were not invited to the barbecue that the other Secret Escape guests were!!! Very embarrassing as they asked us why we did not go!!

Olympic reps at the airport poor and no info/communication. Heraklion airport unbelievable - had to queue outside in the heat as the airport could no cope with anymore travellers checking in.

Spoilt what was a great hotel experience apart from the room confusion. However will travel again but not to Crete.
