Good Points
Very reablie quite good on fuel. Excellent panners for touring. Good seat, handles fairly good and exelent for two up riding.

Bad Points
take off speed and excelation not very exciting for a 900.

General Comments
I have owned some hand grenade bikes before so getting a XJ 900 was a bit of a step down. I got the bike mainly to do a bit of touring on (great for that) and the wife dident like getting wipe lash on my old bike. It suits us down to the ground comftable also for passanger realible great carrying ability good size tank and the shaft drive is almost maintance free (no more chain and sprocket problems).

One thing I am 40 yrs old so maybe I am taming down a bit. This is not a young mans bike unless you like to criuse and enjoy the views.
