“Getting a Refund is a huge hassle”

I purchased a home theatre system on eBay. When I received the product one of the speakers turned out to be defective. I contacted the seller. He said he'll get back to soon. 3 days later no response. I contacted him again, he doesn't' answer. I finally decided to contact Paypal. I filed a dispute with him. I requested a partial refund for the defective speaker. The seller never responded to the dispute. Paypal closed the dispute about 20 days later. I had to wait almost 23 days to get my issue resolved. It shouldn't take 23+ days to get a refund.
