“West Bridgford Bowling Club Day Out”

Having won a day on Dolphin for 12 guests,I decided to invite 11 members of above Club. In the end a party of Ten boarded Dolphin at 1020 on 26 June 2013.We were greeted and welcomed by the Crew Matthew and Bo and Bucks Fizz was served during the safety briefing. The weather was perfect 19 *C and wind
NW about 10Kts. We set off down channel and decided to go up River to Bucklers Hard on the banks of the Beaulieu River.We had a leisurely sail to that point all enjoying the sights, not to mention drinks served by the crew.Unfortunately a berth was not available, so we returned down River to a Berth in mid River and all enjoyed Drinks on the upper deck as Matthew and Bo were setting out the Buffet.All enjoyed a delightful cold buffet (and more drinks)al fresco as the weather remained fine.We then set course for Hamble, where we refuelled and the guests had a walk for about 45 minutes.Most enjoyable.We then had an exhillirating high speed run back to Ocean Village Marina, and said our Goodbyes about 5.30.All enthused over the trip and several planning to do it again sometime.I didnt hear a word of criticism about anything on the day and considering all were aged between 60 and 85, everyone concluded it was a day to remember and congratulate the Company on a wonderful day out
