Card declined TWICE on Ryanair
Card declined again at a restaurant in Gran Canaria, despite having (enough) credit balance.
Apart from the embarrassment, what's the point of having a mastercard that gets declined? I might as well only use hard currency.

ATM in Canaries doesn't show balance and Website doesn't show my balance.

Looks like I'll need to carry both hard currency and a calculator with me when I'm out spending.
