“Completely customisable Pc ”

written by on 13/06/2013

The service was great, right from the start there was help with choosing components - for example I didn't know which power supply to use but unlike some other websites I won't name, it alerted me to to minimum power requirements for the components I chose.

Ordering the pc was smooth, we got a voucher code so I spent the spare money on an even better graphics card; plus, free copy of the latest sim city game with AMD A-Series processors! Amazing deal if I ever saw one.

When the pc did come I was slightly apprehensive about the amount of cables and parts that weren't inside the pc tower, but after some thinking I compared it to my old pc and realised that they were just spare parts. Although that is mostly because of my ignorance towards the insides of a computer, it was still quite concerning to my 14-year-old eyes.

Setting and booting it up went fine, it for a one minor hiccough. Windows 8 asked for a product activation key which I knew nothing about, but skipping that step and emailing PC Specialist at the first chance i got proved to be an excellent demonstration of the customer service provided. A reply back within 48 hours sent me on my way to me completing the setup of what is turning out to be my fastest computer ever.

Overall, omitting the faults that were largely down to my incompetence rather than PC Specialist's, it is a great machine with absolutely no technical faults.
