You never know what an insurance company is like until you have to make a claim.
My VW camper is insured with Staveley Head. Last month I was involved in an accident and on making a claim I found that the company is a myriad of third party companies. I gave the details to a disinterested call centre operator who said she would pass them on and could not tell me what would happen next apart from 'someone will call you back"
A week later a repair centre called, came out and processed the paperwork within a day. Staveley Head still havent authorised the work to go ahead 2 weeks later. Every call I make I get the same promise of a call from the claims department from a third party because the claims dept were not answering.
So frustrating.
They advertise that they have a specialist claims dept who will smooth the claims process for their clients. Not managed to get through to them to assess their work.
Steer clear.
