“Great adventure, Nile cruise relaxation ”

Written on: 26/05/2013 by Ernie12 (1 review written)

M.S Grand Rose, Very friendly and attentive staff, but not intrusive. From the very start baggage collected by cabin staff from coach and waiting in cabin. restaurant menu was varied and had many great choices,in my opinion the head chef and his team excelled. On the sun deck(greatly used!) staff were always attentive and more than happy to help with more than enough loungers and cooler shaded areas for all guests to enjoy. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable at all places visited and made history come to life.He was also able to explain many aspects of Egypt that we did not have time to visit. The scale and detail of the temples are stunning and I found it difficult to take everything in (so will have to return for another look!!) Haggling is the norm, and even when cruising along the Nile small boats would come along and try to sell a variety of cotton goods!
The only negative thing, which is of no fault of the company was for a 5.25 hour flight with Thompson there was sadly no entertainment, apart from the staff trying to sell duty free or food. A film would have been nice. Thoroughly recommend
