“Avoid”

Last Wednesday my SharePoint server got turned off. 5 days later they still haven’t found my data. The exchange server migration from 2007 to 2010 did not go well. Missing lots of data, such as contacts, calendar entry’s and emails. Been told they can’t do anything about that because the old 2007 data is no longer there.

In IT why the hell would you wipe a server that you have just migrated clients off without waiting to see if you had done it correctly. Clearly they did a sloppy migration and not all the data has come across.

As of today they still can’t tell me if they have lost my files let alone if it’s ever going to come back online. The customer support is nothing short of a joke. They haven’t got a clue and when I try to speak to a manager or a Director I get told that they are not about or have left the company. This is worrying in itself, if the 3 Directors I asked to speak to are no longer working with the company and have left then perhaps there are bigger things going on behind the scenes that then are letting on.

My advice, get your data the hell out and find any other company you can.
