“U4D Creative Media Observetis Ltd”

I had 2 websites built by U4D Creative Media (Observetis Ltd have the same director), both paid for on time, in full, including their hosting. When I commissioned them to build a 3rd website, he was unable to do so (simply resize a page in a format which he had agreed he could do). So I had to find someone else that could do it. He billed me for the "work" which he could not do and I refused to pay. I received absolutely nothing for this "work" that he could not do. So they closed the other two websites (1 of which is solely owned by my partner - it is a VAT registered ltd company)and is holding me to ransom - either I pay for the work he could not do or he will not turn the two websites back on. Of course, I will not deal with such a person, how can you trust someone who has behaved as unprofessionally as this? So please be warned, this "web designer" had no hesitation whatsoever when it came to damaging my partner's and my livelihoods and business. NEVER let someone else own your domain name or host your website - always do these two points yourself, and do not listen to any waffle regarding the "web designer" has better hosting that can do this that and the other.
