Lorenzo Carcaterra, Sleepers - The book was a great...”

written by mpierce31 on 14/10/2004

Good Points
The best point in the book is when Lorenzo describes the time at Wilkinson and how he emphasized how hard it was for the boys to get out of there alive.

Bad Points
There were no bad points to the story but there were times when the unbareable description of the boys' sexual abuse got to you

General Comments
Lorenzo Carcaterra, Sleepers - The book was a great read, it really made me cry because I felt what the characters felt at the time. It just was unreal, the abuse the guards put on them.
