“£50 to cancel and they sold my details to injury claims”

I've sold my van after 10 months so should get 2 months premium back but these rip off merchants say there is no refund and said they are charging me £50 to cancel my policy so I then told them not to cancel the policy but they went ahead and did it anyway. Now they have sent a demand to pay within 7 days otherwise they are handing it to debt collection...what appalling customer service.
They also sold my details to an injury claim company and I have been bombarded by texts, emails and phonecalls ever since I took out the policy.
I would recommend anyone stay a million miles away from these sharks.
