“Diamond Apartments, Kos (Previously Lydia)”

Written on: 26/04/2013

The apartments are off a rural lane just outside the town. It is a quiet location with the vacant land used for agriculture with goats, chickens and fruit trees. The gardens were well maintained and the rooms satisfactory for the price. No microwave or toaster, but a 2 ring electric hotplate, kettle and filter coffee machine. The restaurant served breakfasts, pizzas and snacks and what we had was very good.
Take your own soap, shampoo, teatowel and beachtowel
The local supermarket Carrefour is about 10 mins walk away but it seems further when you carry groceries back. Some guests hired bicycles, and a cab to the town was about 5Euro. A cab to the airport is around 35Euros
The beach was about 15 mins walk. We didn't use it. Not particularly inviting and too many scrawny cats around.
