“Greedy and dishonest, BE Epsom branch”

Appointed BE Epsom branch as joint agent, they introduced a potential buyer, however, were not in a position to make an offer. Then appointed Brows property services in Stoneleigh who after a few months had lapsed, showed the property to the same potential buyer, who made an offer through Browns, which was accepted. Now BE is threatening to go to court and claim £16000 plus daily interest of 3% over Barclays base rate. What they seem to forget is that the agent who introduces is not entitled to a fee, its the agent who completes the sale is entitled.
Advice, don't touch them with a bargepole, stay well clear
