My mum kept saying her bills were quite high so ended up going through them. What should have been no more than £34. Month for the full works were all in excess of £50. One bill showed she had been on the 118 500 line for 6 minutes, totally £16 in charges! Most charges were over £4, which in my view is typical of this country that allows such blatant thievery.

What appears to increase charges is when you allow them to put you through, they just keep on charging. NEVER use this service! Where is Ofcom in all this ... No doubt profiting on people's misinformed custom!
