“Avoid at all cost”

I purchased a shower pump from the Woolwich branch, on the 25th march 2013, ended up not needing it any more, it was never fitted, but opened the box to check the product, it has been left in a dusty home being refurbed. I took the pump back to the branch to get a refund. the shop assistant Mike, opened the box had a look at the pump, called his supervisor over (Jason) to take a look, they then took the pump into the back of the warehouse, spent about 10-20mins came back and said this pump has been used, and we cant refund you. They them demonstrated that it was used because when you tip the pump upside down water came out.

It was bone dry when i took it into the branch, god knows what they did with it out back. This really made my blood boil, the assistant manager Deon, was hiding in the back, and then came out to just say we aint taking it back cos its been used, which is a load of rubbish, and that its dusty. well yeah i dont have a dust free environment at home do you?
Totally un-fair and un-reasonable, will never shop here ever again. Worst ever experience.
