“Currys Know How - More like Know NOT. Avoid like the...”

Booked a repair for our fridge Freezer the earliest being a four day wait - OK we can do that, told 'engineer' would come with parts to repair - they had taken all the details of the machine at the booking time so we awaited his arrival.

When the fella turns up he has nothing to repair the machine of anykind beyond a plug fuse - which was not required obviously. When asked how you repair an appliance with nothing he just said he was paid to turn up.

Speaking with his controller Currys trotted out some corporate BS which totally contradicted what was told to me at the time of booking (and paying) for the 'one visit' repair.

They are a joke of a company employing dimwit bods in the vans (he used his phone as a torch FFS and made no diagnosis of the fault beyond telling me he thought the compressor was fine so it must be the circuit board!)and slippery liars in Sheffield repair centre.
