“Great mid-point between generic shops & expensive...”

I wanted a couple of suits for work. I went round a few shops that offered suits off-the-shelf, and had seen some very expensive suit shops online.

For me, Slaters in Manchester offered a perfect compromise between these two extremes. The member of staff I was with didn't hurry me into choosing between styles, nor pressure me into getting more than I wanted. He was also thorough in getting the size just right. This is especially important since I struggle to find trousers that are right on the waist, so free tailoring was a bonus.

I bought a couple of their cheaper suits, which highlights their attention to customer service. I'm sure they offer higher-quality products too for people who'd like them.

Even after I'd paid, the staff were extremely helpful in rearranging the delivery at very short notice to my work address when I realised I wouldn't be home to collect it.

They will probably be my first choice next time I need formal wear, and I will certainly recommend them to friends.
