Have always had Indesits but wouldnever have another. The IDL 530 never worked properly from day one. Called a service engineer and he said it was my fault - I wasn't using the right rinse aid or some other rubbish. He said there was nothing wrong with it and if I called the service out again there would be a charge. I should have sent it back to John Lewis there and then but I'd never had any problems with Indesit machines before and thought it would settle down. Fat chance! I have had most of the problems other people have reported: tablets get stuck in the drawer, get stuck on the crockery and not dissolved properly, grit and food particles stuck all over the glasses and plates, you have to press the start button a random number of times to get it to start at all, sometimes it has a fit and two of the three lights start flashing together so that you have to switch it off at the wall, leave it and switch it on again to get it to go.
And I've never been able to get the spray arms off to clean them... is this even possible?
