“Exceptional value for money.”

written by on 09/03/2013

Our mini break went without a hitch from beginning to end. A taxi from the airport to Krakow town centre took approx. half hour and cost £20 for 3 of us. Train fare would have been £3 each. The Maximillian Hotel was a short walk to the centre square at Krakow, with plenty of restaurants to choose from, all very affordable. Our room was very clean and pleasant with complimentary tea and coffee making equipment replenished every morning, together with bottled mineral water, which I have never come across in other hotels. Breakfast hot buffet was very good, and went on to a very welcome 10.30 for us late risers, rather than the usual 9.30am. There was nothing I could complain about.
Dont miss visiting Auschwitz concentration camp - the main reason to visit Krakow. Everyone should know about this place and the horrors that occurred there during World War II.
