“A senior moment cost me”

These looked good skates and probably were; but I wanted size 6-8 and they were 2-4 only. I didn't realise my mistake till I hit the go button. Within a minute I had rung to tell them, but got a jolly message telling me to leave my number and they'd get back to me. I did, but I then also sent a cancellation email immediately afterwards. Got an auto-reply saying 'we'll answer within two working days'. They did, too, only to tell me the skates had already been dispatched and I'd have to use the returns process. this went through fine but cost me £4.00.
I am sadder and wiser. It was a busy time, just before Christmas, so it's difficult to be critical. But it could have been better..
