As with Ready Brek the Weetabix company makes, they are clearly ripping off buyers with inferior product.
If you buy Weetabix in the cold months, you get the best quality wheat which is nice & soft as well as tasty.
But come the Spring-Summer crops they buy in from other countries, you get the cheap nasty stuff which can range from being underbaked, overbaked with a hard nutty taste & then the worst ones which are surely the husks of the wheat as it's like eating a bowl of sawdust.
I've given up on Weetabix & have now similarly with Ready Brek. Too much is getting one spoon eaten & then flushed down the toilet in disgust.
If Weetabix can sell this very poor product to others clearly unaware of how bad it is compared to high quality that it used to be even 5 years ago, then clearly Weetabix are boosting profits by using substandard filler.
Yet another long-enjoyed brand that is now never going to be bought again as it's so disappointing.
