“Horrible customer service”

I was excited when I first found Mott's website. My 10 year old daughter is just starting to put finishing details on her dollhouse and this company had Mott's had some harder to find items at reasonable prices. So I place my order on December 3rd. The gift will be hers from "Santa" as one of the items is especially hard to find.

When I placed the order, I paid for ground shipping. Should be - for any other company out there - a reasonable enough time to get the package by Christmas! At no time was I told my order was "special order" and at no time during the ordering process was I notified that it would take over 2 weeks just to package and ship the product. No, I found this out by logging on to the website 12days after I placed the order. My order is listed as a "special order" and "should ship" by December 20th. What?!? That's only 3 shipping days before Christmas this year!

To make matters worse, there is no way to call and contact a real person. You have to e-mail any requests. Ok. So I did. My e-mail was replied to as a scolding. Silly me! Don't include an order number when you want to check the update of your order! "Lucky for me" they happen to check their spam folder. But still no help because I didn't provide my full name email address and shipping address. Oh, and a note to not even bother emailing if your order is under two weeks old, and there is a link to page on their site detailing this. Sure, now you tell me, after they have my credit card but NOT when I placed the order.

Well, I hope they find my order the next time I contact them! I will be canceling the order and looking for products elsewhere. Paying extra to have your items "processed more quickly" - that is, paying extra to have your items shipped within a two week time frame is absolutely ludicrous! At least let me know as they are placing the order.

I started to wonder if they are even a legitimate company u til I found these other reviews. Buyer beware!
