Reading the other reviews on this site makes me realise my last two years of suffering with Lloyds TSB Offshore Banking are far from isolated. I have had an International Premier Account for that time (I live in Australia), I switched from an earlier type of Lloyds overseas sterling account. This seems to have been the root of the internet access problems I constantly experience. I do admit some of it is self-imposed. But Lloyds can never dig me out of the hole. They just pile more on top.
I have been regularly placed into perpetual business process circles, whilst trying to navigate the highly neurotic security system (internet and staff) that L-TSB employ. whilst myself trying to deal calmly with numerous arrogant helpdesk staff who only seem able to follow procedural scripts in a rather robotic manner.
Calls take too long to resolve, the only solution I am generally offered (when away from Australia) is the snail-mailing of a 'security code' (or some such) to my home address (in Australia). This isn't much used if I am in another country of course.
To sum up - A right old schemozzle. ;-<
