Good Points
None as they promised and promised to complete our kitchen to our satisfaction and failed to deliver on them following installation June 2007
Bad Points
I found MFI to be a difficult company to deal with and that was a full year prior to going into Administration and I could have predicted it would then. Quick to debit the money but slow to respond to complaints to such an extent that 18 months later our kitchen is not complete.
General Comments
I don't agree with MFI blaming the credit crunch for this situation as I feel it has very little to do with that. I purchase my kitchen and bedroom furniture in May 2007 fitted in June 2007 and still not finished yet. I felt as though they were full of promises that were never fulfilled.
In my opinion, CUSTOMER CARE or lack of it was the sole problem with the way this company traded and poor supervision of the tradesmen fitting out is the primary companies problems.
If customer care is good, companies continue to trade during poor times and come out stronger in the good times.
I still have a kitchen unfinished and have waited 18 months.
I have no confidence in the management of this company now or its past.
I have not had any compensation and don't expect to receive any and after all, my wife and myself only ever wanted was what we had paid good money for!
