General Comments
We bought a kitchen from MFI and had someone to come out and measure up. When we were invoiced there were a number of items missing on the order, and was told that there were items that we didn't need on the initial invoice. Went down and made payment within the time limit stated, system was not working to process payment so paper work filled out for staff to put through on another day - this apparently wasn't done so our order was cancelled without us receiving notification. We phoned up 3 days before delivery was expected only to be told our order had been cancelled, even though we had sourced a builder and ripped out our kitchen ready for the delivery. New delivery date was 6 weeks later! I felt the way the situation was handled was poor, we had no alternative but to get our money back and have now used Howdens who have stated we will get our kitchen the next day after order - I would never use MFI again!
