“worst customer service ever”

My son received an expensive pair of Zara pants as a Christmas gift. They didn't fit so I tried to return them. The store wouldn't take them, even though they had only been tried on once, had the original tags, and mail return information. They said I needed the original invoice. After multiple phone calls and much time on hold, I was told that the store should have been able to call to get this information themselves and to go back. To be on the safe side, I got the original invoice emailed to me from the gift giver. I went back to another Zara store with this as well. They still wouldn't take the return, saying that they needed a special code that's not on the tags, return label, or invoice.
