“Half speed sky fibre broadband”

If you are thinking of getting fibre broadband with Sky then don't. I've been signed up for an also service for a number of years without issue and decided to switch to the faster service. Only one problem, from the 40mb service, you get half the speed or less. There is a forum completely full of people with this issue (over 600 posts), sky never give updates to anyone yet happily admit they have a problem. the real insult is the fact we have to pay for this half speed service with no information on when it will be resolved.

Speaking to customer service yields no joy, pleasant though they may be (it's in the uk) they aren't able to help it seems in any way whatsoever! It's very frustrating. Oh, and having emailed the office of the CEO to try and get this finally resolved, or at least my billing altered so I pay for what I'm actually getting...well put it this way, it's been over two weeks and nobody has responded.
