“Let down badly, poor communication.”

I made an online purchase for 4 winter tyres. . The estimated delivery time was 3-4 days. I received an email confirming the order. I received a voicemail saying delivery would be a few days more than originally indicated. I did not receive the tyres when scheduled so I called customer services and was told there was a delay from the manufacturer but the tyres would be with me within 5 days. When I still did not receive them I called again. The man I spoke to was surprised and thought it had been sorted. He then checked and found out that my tyres were delayed indefinitely and could not give me a delivery date. He then tried to sell me some snowchains!
I WAS NOT HAPPY.
At no time did anyone contact me to inform me of any delay once the order was confirmed and if I hadn't called, I'd still be waiting!
Because of the delay, I then struggled (and still struggling) to get the tyres I need as the weather took a turn for the worse and supplies were limited.
I had been a customer of PneusOnline but decided to try Lovetyres as they were UK based. So much for loyalty!
