“Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor”

written by on 12/12/2012

I just completed the game Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor over a few days. You have a house with which you have to find different items to enable you to move around the house. During these levels different things happen depending on what you have found. I found this to be a cross between Casper the friendly Ghost(original game) and Where's Wally.I was quite surprised when i saw ghost floating across the screen, trying to distract you. This happened when I clicked on one spot to many times. This made me wonder what else they had hidden in the game. Maybe I didn't look hard enough but alas nothing else to be found. The ending was dissapointing compared to the rest of the game. You had one thing to do and then it was over. After all the build up in finding the parts I would of thought that some effort would have to be made in the finding of the final machine. Maybe have to find a secret door or lever or something to that effect. Overall I rated it as good because even though the last piece was dissapointing the majority of the game was quite good. It is one I would gladly allow my children to play
