I was trying to book a TWIN ROOM in Travel Lodge Farringdon London. This was my third visit to this hotel. My previous agent couldn't confirm a twin room - just a double, and was dearer anyway, and I gave up trying Travel Lodges own web site, which in spite of constant e-mails offering me special rates, they were never available, where or when I wanted them. Also, they couldn't offer a twin room, and they were even dearer.
My dealings with Travel Republic were first class. Only two things which could be improved :-
1) An e-mail confirmation was sent and I was to print off the hotel voucher. Unfortuneately, my printer was broken and I had to get a new one and only managed to ptint it off the night before.
Would be better if this was posted.
2) There was a credit card booking fee. I must confess this annoys me. I have not had to pay this before with previous agents.
