I was at the Thrifty Rental desk about an hour early, the woman behind the counter rudely pointed that out to me, and continued with that attitude throughout the transaction. The car I rented was very clean and well kept, except that the air condition didn't work properly. I called the desk and told them about it, she questioned why I didn't tell her about it right away. I told her it was early in the morning and it wasn't hot that day. Then she insisted I "drive the car back to the airport where I had picked it up," or else they will send a tow track and I'll have to pay for it! (Mind you, I had picked it up at the Perth International Airport.) So, I drove from Yangibup to P. I. Airport. She reassured me that she will organize another car for me. But when I arrived, there wasn't anyone around. We waited for a while before a lady from the same rental company happened to walk by us by chance. I explained the situation to her and she claimed she wasn't informed about it, and that there are no cars available in P. I. Airport. I ended up driving in the heat to the Domestic Airport where I waited for almost an hour for the man to bring me another car. Aside from the air condition problem with the first car, I enjoyed driving both cars. It's just that the not service friendly, the attitude like they were doing me a favor, that ruined the experience with them!
