“irish anne birmingham”

Written on: 02/12/2012

My friend and I went shopping to birmingham yesterday, Saturday 1st december. We went into house of fraser first, up to the ladies dress dept. We were served by this very charming, bubbly irish lady, anne. she took us to the fitting rooms, changed our items, spoke to us, not at us, and generally had time to serve us as individuals not rushing you out to go elsewhere or on a break. Another curly haired lady came along to help also. It was a real pleasure to be served by these two ladies. We had a laugh and exchanged pleasantries, which has gone from shops and stores nowadays. We were offered a card, told of the returns on our items as they were sale, and just generally made to feel we could rely on her for any information. We would like to say a big 'Thankyou' to anne and colleague on ladies department for lovely service and friendly nature. I work for a big department store myself, but we are made to feel we are not allowed to interact too long with one customer for fear of some sort of fiddling going on. What happened to good old fashioned service. Well we found it yesterday at your store in birmingham.Well done. Thankyou. When we go again we shall seek out anne. She made our day.Kim
