“Account Suspended! (Be warned)”

There's no such thing as a free lunch with v.gg. I've actually used their service for a couple of years of more and actually don't mind it - when it works.

A few months ago I started having problems sending emails and I gave up for a while but returned about a week ago and tried to log in. I then had to go through another form to update my password to a longer, more complex one as they'd changed the site a little bit. After this I could login and send/receive emails as before BUT (just today) I got a message up:

"Your account is suspended. Please contact your administrator for more information."

So, bye bye v.gg - please be warned.

On investigation v.gg is yet another email service (just like emailaccount.com) which is operated by everyone.net and I know I'm not alone in suddenly finding myself blocked out.

Just don't use v.gg as your main email account. If you need a quick and easy throwaway address it's probably going to be fine. Fortunately that's all I used it for.
