“Springador puppy”

I spent a long time researching different breeds etc before settling on a springador (springer spaniel x with labrador). We had had spaniels when i was a child and i loved them and i also have friends with labradors, who are also lovely. I had wanted to take a dog froma rescue centre at first but as my granddaughter is only two years old i soon found out that this would not be practical as no rescue centre i found would say that dogs were suitable for under eights!

I bought a springador puppy at 10 weeks old. I saw both the mother (springer) and father (labrador) before buying him. I had been told that they can be very lively and a bit mad!

He is now 13 weeks and so far has been an absolute joy. He is great with my granddaughter. He is getting used to doign his business outside and is very affectionate and loyal. I am sure that i will have some trying times ahead but i am so glad with the decision i made!
