“Chippenham Currys - Sort out your customer service!”

I could not believe the lack of customer service in the Chippenham branch of Currys. We ordered a kitchen appliance online to go and collect. On collection, after waiting a good 20 minutes and seeing that they had to remind their staff to go and retrieve the item from what I assume must be a enormousness warehouse based on how long they took it came back we got it in the car and I got home to find out they had given me an oven, not the freezer we ordered and wanted for that evening. I guess its my fault for not checking that they know what they're doing. So I called up, to see if I could come back to swap it to be told by some call centre they were going to be closed shortly and that it wouldn't be possible to go back as 6pm is closing time. I guess these sorts of places won't go that extra mile to wait 5 minutes to sort out their mistake as I would have been there by 5-10 minutes past 6. So I went and swapped it the following morning and after another 20min + wait was given the right freezer. However, at no point during this waste of time did one of the members of staff (more than one was dealt with) say sorry. If I heard my employees deal with my clients like this, I would not be too happy. We needed more appliances and so we have since got those from Trowbridge Currys and the service was great.
