“ignorant, haven't replied to my complaint. con artists”

was given this company after my car went wrong, and was protected with any faults, with car protect. They very quickly got me in to have my car seen to to SN Autos in Hainault,Essex. My Engine Warning light was on, I had a problem with the handbrake not holding, and also my car was using twice as much petrol as it was suppossed to. After three days, Prestige car servicing told me, I was not covered and that it was going to cost me £123.00, including £15.00 petrol which was used for testing the car! I had to pay this over the phone before I picked up my car. I was told the mechanics could not release the handbrake. When I picked up my car, I returned my courtesy car which was checked over. was then shocked to see my handbrake in bits and some cable hanging out. I was also shocked to see had no petrol in the car, it said distance to empty zero! I then broke down on the way home, in a dark country lane with two young children of 6 and 8. the engine warning light was still on. when I spoke to someone at prestige, I was told the £15.00 was used on the roads and in the workshop. I came home to write a complaint and 10 days later have still not heard anything. Today SN Autos have accused me of damaging the courtesy car. When I told them that the car was fine when I dropped it off and that it was checked over, I was told that the lady who checked the car had left the company, very convenient! They now want £250 for damage to the drivers lock which I didn't do. i wouldn@t recommend either of these companies to anyone
