“Club Palma Bay Resort”

Just come back from an All Inclusive break at the Club Palma Bay Resort in El Arenal, Mallorca.
Flight was fine, no problems there but when we went to find our transfer company it was closed so had to wait until another driver was available.
In the end we arrived just after midnight, booked in at the hotel reception and was given a map indicating where our room was - so as we walked down through the complex we thought "this is quite nice" only to discover that we had to walk out of the complex, down the road a bit, turn right onto another road, turn left down another road, cross over then we were there!!hmmm
Our room was just off the entrance lobby which was not good as every time someone came in or went out you would hear the door bang - not good when some people were coming in at 5am.
The room could have done with being a little bigger and the mattresses not so hard but it was clean, it also had a balcony but this was facing opposite a local cafe/bar so you had no privacy and you could sometimes hear people chatting there into the early hours. Also they could do with putting tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms as this would have been a nice welcome especially when you arrive after midnight!
In the main complex there were quite a few trees so everyone was trying to get to the spots which had the most sun - think they could do with cutting them down a bit really!
The food wasn't too bad (didn't feel the need to go elsewhere) especially when you consider how many people they are serving and from different countries.
Overall it was a nice break but we feel that the hotel could do with pointing out about the accommodation better and maybe putting together a welcome pack with plenty of info of how to get out and about.
