“Glad I ve done it but somethings to be aware of”

I had my eyes laserd a week and a half a go at ultralse, tottenham court road. I was short sighted -3.25 in both eyes. I was told I could have any procedure so I went for the best ultra elite LASIK. £2200 per eye.

The staff were friendly and helpful but felt as if I was on an conveyer belt that day. One in one out. The operation its self for me was pretty intense the right eye went well but while the laser was cutting my left eye the suction came off my eye ball which then meant the machine stopped had 3 more sec to cut. Well panic set in but the surgeon sorted the problem in a few mins.

Afterwards itlooks as if your in a sauna I was left in a dark room for 30 mins. My eyes were streaming feels like sun cream in your eyes it was very uncomfortable. After seeing the surgeon he had one quick look at my eyes and that was it. I was also told using the tube afterwards was not a good idea. Something I should have thought of or maybe a question they should ask you as they are in London!

I couldn't really open up my eyes for 5h constant streaming so do try and sleep after 6 hours the stinging did stop vison was still not clear. Woke up the next morning and it was pretty good no pain just very blood shot eyes.

A week and a half on and I would say my vison is crystal clear however I am suffering from halos and star bursts at night so I would recommend getting it done in the summer where the days are lighter. Something I wish I had known. The star busts from car lights have improved but pretty scary the first time you see them

I am glad I have had it done however some people are left with permanent halos and star burst which is it all really worth it. I feel I took a big chance with my eyes and would alway tell people to really consider it. Hope this helps
