“Greedy people have ruined it!”

The original idea for Freecycle was great. Too many people were throwing out good, useable stuff & our landfills are alteady full.
Fast forward a few years later & Freecycle has turned into a checklist of things people want. The requests have become outrageous to the point of people requesting entire roomfuls of furniture & not just any kind. I have seen people wanting specific colors, matching sets, etc. This idea was created for people who had a need for certain things, not for greedy people who want to get things for free because they are too cheap to pay for them! Free means, as is, probably not perfect, may need some minor repair, etc. It is NOT meant for people's personal shopping sprees!
If I do request something, I am willing to clean it, do minor repair, or know that it won't be brand new. Others need to do the same & stop with the wish lists for high priced things!
