“I intended to sell my macbook pro to them for a quote...”

I intended to sell my macbook pro to them for a quote of £300. But they
came back to me after 3 weeks claiming that my laptop was in bad condition,
both the video card and mother board have serious flaws and gave me a new
quote of £50. I found this outrageous because if my laptop were in such
condition, they hadn't needed to spend that long time to check. Besides
that I haven't had a single problem since I bought my laptop 5 years ago.
They said if I want to have the laptop back, I needed to pay £38 for
delivery. I reported this to Office of Fair Trading, who recommended me to
request them to send it back at their own cost; otherwise taking court
action against them. After much furious arguments, they backed down and
sent it back to me. I am lucky in the sense that I at least have my laptop
back. I am writing this review to let other customers in UK know that their
business is very suspicious.
